Synthesized, characterized, and prototyped novel optically-triggered, self-healing shape memory polymers for use in flexible electronics in Zhenan Bao's lab.

Taught three sections of graduate-level thin-film transistor, organic LED, and photovoltaic fabrication labs (MATSCI 164/174).Taught organic chemistry and biochemistry labs, lectures, discussion sections, and office hours for 200+ undergraduate students (CHEM 121 and 141).Managed class logistics across three classes for the 2022-23 academic year. Organized and mentored chemistry peer tutors serving the Stanford student body free of charge via virtual and in-person tutoring sessions in general, organic, inorganic, physical, and biochemistry.

Wrote MATLAB heat transfer models for predicting properties of novel textiles. Designed experimental setups to analyze textile swatches, eventually informing the design of fibers optimized for skin cooling.

Managed class logistics for 170+ students. Responsibilities included creating assignments, quizzes, syllabus, compiling readings, facilitating class speakers, hosting office hours, and grading.

Developed flour protein isolation methods and modified protein isolates to achieve desired properties for new product development.

Studied the inhibition mechanisms of novel vancomycin conjugates and caprazamycins on bacterial biofilms in Lynette Cegelski's lab. Isolated whole-cell and cell-wall samples for solid state NMR analysis.

Completed literature searches and interviews with energy experts in Sally Benson's lab to help create an economy-wide model for decarbonizing California by 2045. Published whitepaper "Pathways to Carbon Neutrality in California: Clean Energy Solutions that Work for Everyone."

Wrote press releases and grant applications, managed social media, and assisted with music production and video editing.
