I started at TerraPower a few years ago, after a 10+ year career in the aerospace industry building rockets and satellites. My pivot into the nuclear industry was guided by my desire to work at a company that is driving global change – and working on TerraPower’s Natrium project has given me the opportunity to support a team that is taking the first step in solving the climate crisis. My role on Natrium is to facilitate and oversee TerraPower engagements with the National Labs. The National Lab complex boasts a wide variety of unique facilities and experienced personnel that are pivotal to the development of advanced reactors, including Natrium. I interact with the Labs on a wide range of scope including (but not limited to) the development of advanced fuels, testing reactor materials, supporting the safety analysis team, and the retrieval of historical documents to support the Natrium project.
