Mapping floor plans, collecting relevant archival information, assigning accession numbers, updating collections databases, locating and recording the movement of artworks post 2014 conservation preparation.Archival:- Organizing recovered photo boxes, filing images into subject and accession files.- Assisting in assessment of stored artworks condition.- Editing and updating archival databases.Administrative:- Facilitating Laura Bush's private tour of Chesterwood.- Negotiating loyalty discounts between local museums and venues.- Creating, placing, and stocking book and merchandise orders in Museum Shop.- Developing museum shop inventory, including new products.- Processing invoices and donor information.- Assist in planning Chesterfest, A New Americana Music Festival: Writing press release, designing and editing posters/postcards, creating social media advertising.- Staffing special events. Ex: working admission and bar at Boston Sculptor's Gallery opening reception gala.Guide:- Working as interpreter and guide to Daniel Chester French's residence, studio, and gardens, and Chesterwood's Outdoor Contemporary Sculpture Exhibition.- Developing and providing tours to large groups of children and adolescents ages 7 to 18.- Proper cleaning and storage of museum artworks and decorative objects.
