By sharing our story and experience through our Innovation Hub, where we welcomed around 1,000 visitors over 3 years, we've shown that new ways of working can have a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of people living in care homes and seen other providers adopt some of the technology we've championed.Responsible for our sales, marketing and communications strategy, I work with the Executive Team to also identify new opportunities to enhance the quality of life experienced by the people who choose to live with us.

Directly responsible for the development and delivery of two strategies related to income generation and public policy campaigning, and responsible for the delivery of marketing across the organisation.I continued to manage the marketing team covering: marketing (on and offline), website development, social media, PR, fundraising, public policy development, and brand integrity and development.

I joined Swanswell at an exciting time - a new brand had been developed, but was not being used consistently or to its full potential, largely because there wasn't any marketing expertise in-house. Starting with an intern and temp I put in place everything that was needed to embed the brand and improved the wider Swanswell team's understanding of what a brand is, how to use the brand consistently and why we need to protect it. Alongside this I started to look at PR, general marketing and the development of the website. Over the following 2 years the team expanded to cover marketing, social media, PR, sales, fundraising, internal comms, public policy and website development.I also managed our bid/tender writers and was part of the team that won a number of new contracts worth over £25 million.

I held responsibility for marketing a range of products and services related to process safety both in the UK and internationally. Included books and journals for the whole 10 year period, but also training packages and downloadable online training with links into conference and event marketing.

I was responsible for producing book promotions for UK libraries and schools. Liaising with all UK publishers to review new titles and special offers, I produced a monthly newsletter detailing a minimum of 6 promotions and two annual catalogues listing tens of thousands of fiction and non-fiction titles.
