Liability Management Analyst
CurrentCITY OF EUGENE, EUGENE, OR, AUGUST 2022 TO PRESENTMANAGEMENT ANALYST • Manage claims encompassing various areas, including—but not limited to—auto, bodily injury, property, permits, electrical, easements, ADA, engineering, and police-litigated losses.• Liaise with local city and county attorneys regarding property damage, conduct investigations, communicate with departments, collect photos, order related reports and invoices, and submit restitution requests directly to the courts for repayment.• Submit losses and participate in court restitution hearings offering additional supporting information if subpoenaed to validate the submission's authenticity.• Engage closely with the general public, providing comprehensive understanding and information regarding issues brought to my attention, such as hazards within the city, city codes, overall insurance requirements, and securing coverages necessary to meet specific permit or rental requirements.• Deliver engaging and informative training sessions for new employees covering insurance, claims, and recovery processes while fostering a productive and inclusive working environment. • Cooperate and bridge communications with the fleet department to review estimates, ensuring repair and payment accuracy aligns with accident details.• Revamp and contribute insights to current safety and claims training programs and policies across various departments
