Worked with Kaiser Permanente’s Division of Research on a study to evaluate the impact of a new health information technology system on patients with chronic diseases. Worked with Kaiser Permanente’s Care Management Institute to implement and evaluate a tailored health-messaging product in multiple regions. Authored Chronic Disease Registries: A Product Review for the California HealthCare Foundation.Provided project management and consulting support to physician organizations in the California Cooperative Health Reporting Initiative Diabetes Continuous Quality Improvement Project, a statewide collaborative sponsored by the Pacific Business Group on Health.

Developed the product plan and competitive analyses for adam.com, a consumer healthcare website.Responsible for the development of interactive tool sets for weight management, physical fitness and pregnancy.

Developed a national disease management program for asthma including clinical practice guideline, model of care, patient education program and outcomes evaluation system.Provided project management support to the Web Integration Council and Clinical Subcommittee that defined a national strategy for internal web sites targeting Kaiser clinicians. Site Coordinator for pilot project to test the “Life Care Path” concept and technology in an elderly population. The program entailed generating a personalized, longitudinal care plan based on data from health risk appraisal and legacy systems.Evaluated the impact of the elderly pilot. The pilot improved patient satisfaction and resulted in 40% of participants self-reporting lifestyle changes.
