Metro Flood Diversion Authority has partnered with the United States Army Corps of Engineers to secure $3B in P3 funding for and construction of the Fargo-Moorhead Diversion. The project is designed to protect the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Area from a 100 Year Flood Event and the ability to defend a 500-Year Flood Event. The project includes a thirty (30) mile diversion channel, a diversion channel outlet, a Inflow Design Flood Line of Protection, two (2) pairs of interstate bridges, eleven (11) county road bridges or crossings, four (4) railroad bridges, two (2) aqueducts, eleven (11) drain inlets, and two (2) drop structures, as well as recreation features and mitigation of environmental impacts.

The North Dakota Department of Trust Lands is responsible for management and oversight of educational trust funds, mineral acres and other assets for the benefit of public schools and institutions in North Dakota. The Department administers over $7 billion of financial asset investments, and over 700,000 surface acres. The Department also administers the ND Unclaimed Property statutes and operates the Energy and Infrastructure and Impact Office. As the Commissioner, I am responsible for managing and administering the Department of Trust Lands and proving overall direction and oversight for all divisions within the Department. I serve as the chief spokesperson for public relations and legislative communications. I also serve as an ex-officio member of the State Investment Board.

As the Vice President/Executive Director I am responsible for planning, designing and implementing comprehensive philanthropy programs and developing a team focused toward the ultimate goal of significantly increasing constituent involvement and fundraising outcomes. Leadership of the Foundation includes responsibility for comprehensive planning and execution of annual, major and planned gift programs, corporate and foundation relations, campaigns, dynamic stewardship, engaged volunteer programs, and effective Foundation operations.

Worked with Trinity Health System to oversee and implement a coordinated, system-wide successful development program. Specific duties include developing a strong site based board of directors, maintaining a portfolio of major gift prospects, building strong relationships with site based hospital administrators, working as part of philanthropic leadership team to implement capital campaign and development plan at local site level overseeing development coordinator responsible for growing annual gift society, the annual TrinityHealth Employee Campaign and working with corporate giving specialist to plan annual successful fundraising event.

Worked collaboratively with the Foundation President to manage and grow the institution's corporate and foundation giving program. Responsible for all aspects of fundraising from corporations and foundations. Worked collaboratively with board members, senior leadership, medical and program staff and development office colleagues to forecast, track and meet institutional giving goals for restricted and unrestricted contributed revenue.
