I began my career at Producers XL in 1993 as an entry level position. Soon, I began processing business and managing life insurance cases. In 1996 I hit the road kicking up dirt and building relationships. When technology exploded it became a full time in-house job, so I returned to the office to be on hand to help our employees and our producers with our website, downloading and installing illustration software, and other technology issues. I designed brochures and postcards and various other marketing pieces. As technology embraced new areas of our industry, I welcomed it at the door and ushered it in. I enjoy helping people and finding new ways to expedite business in a more practical and efficient way.In 2015 embarked on a new career and joined the IT team at RedGuard in Wichita, KS. My main focus was keeping our Intranet and Digital Media evergreen, informative, and engaging. I also managed mobile devices, working with Verizon daily. Devices were inventoried using both Meraki System Manager and our Intranet. I created monthly reports showing data usage for our Leadership team. I was also the administrator of Taleo for Business, our HR tracking system. I created data fields that the HR team needed as well as managing the review process. I was also in charge of purchasing for our department. My position was eliminated on November 30th, 2016 -- a result of layoffs resulting from the downturn in the gas and oil markets.My passion is IT and helping others solve problems making others' jobs more efficient. I enjoy website design and development, digital media deployment, providing software customization, and just helping people. I have been in the IT industry for 24 years and enjoy helping other people embrace what technology can do for them.
