I specialise in the development and validation of advanced machine learning models to predict dynamic aircraft behaviour during high load events, such as hard landings and gust encounters. My research focuses on the design of time-aware surrogate models that are consistent with physical principles and satisfy safety-critical requirements. By employing statistical and formal verification methods, my methodologies ensure the robustness, stability, generalisability, and explainability of these models while also addressing uncertainties, such as aleatoric and epistemic factors.Beyond this, I integrate my methodologies into standard processes for load and airframe applications, contributing to Airbus surrogate modelling verification and validation framework. My research supports certification objectives defined by EASA ensuring compliance and reliability of machine learning applications in aerospace engineering. Through continuous refinement of flight load models and the development of verification and validation tools, I advance cutting-edge solutions for safer and more efficient aircraft systems.

I provide module teaching support in aerospace control design and mechanical science where I am responsible for leading level 6 tutorial sessions, laboratory demonstrations, and assessment marking for 280 students.
