About Jodi Hersh
I am a smartist. I help people grow their brands and their businesses with smart design and marketing solutions.I believe form follows function and good design is about more than great aesthetics. I partner with my clients and other creatives to realize the best possible solutions.Early in my career I worked as part of team designing signage and graphics for Universal Studios and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and later became art director for a printing company where I gained valuable working knowledge of developing technologies and processes. In 1993, I founded Orange Star Design and have worked with small businesses, entrepreneurs, indie musicians, marketing and PR agencies, large companies and even a few rock stars. A select list includes: The Atlanta Humane Society, Atlantic Station, The Streets of Buckhead, ALLTEL, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Best Buy, Shane's Rib Shack, Planet Smoothie, The American Cancer Society, Edelman, Alexander Ogilvy, and Styx. My design projects are as varied as branding & identity design, environmental graphics, concert/tour merchandise, event graphics, publications, websites, mobile applications, social media, managed blogging & content marketing and more.As an artist I experiment with abstract and pinhole photography and mixed-media, often combining words and images. I explore different and sometimes unusual techniques, combining old processes with new technology. My artwork is showcased at www.jodihersh.com In 2013 I launched Live Love Dogs (www.livelovedogs.com): Pawsitively fetching sWAG for dog-loving humans and their furry friends. It is a merger of two passions: my love of dogs and design. Dogs lead us by example to live fully, love unconditionally and to Run free.
