I love a good story. It’s why I jumped into journalism. Imagine being able to write (and help others do the same) and make a career out of it. It’s the best.Over the years, my knowledge and abilities expanded into digital publishing. I took my skills as a reporter, editor and writer (and competent videographer and photographer) and added the abilities of website management, content production, video editing, and social media promotion.I spent 20 years at the sixth-largest newspaper in California, including the last 10 as online content producer. It gave me a front-row seat to the sometimes tumultuous transformation of legacy media. I have a sharp eye for tightening up copy and a knack for imaginative, compelling headlines. I learned how to flourish in the quick-turn, "one-touch" environment of breaking and curated news. But it always comes back to the story. If there’s a powerful tale to tell, I’ll work hard to present it in the most powerful form possible, and have it reach the optimal audience. That’s what every good story deserves.
