I retired from Sysco Corporation after 31 great years. Since that time, I’ve invested my time in nonprofit organizations that seek to serve others. I’ve also done some domestic and international consulting in the business arena to keep my mind engaged.I currently volunteer as Development Director for an organization called Uganda Buyamba based in Westlake Village, CA. We raise and maintain sponsorships for approximately 2,000 orphaned and needy children in Kampala Uganda to live in a safe environment while receiving a quality Christian education that will impact the nation of Uganda for Christ. Lead projects necessary for leveraging financial and supply chain opportunities in the Pacific Market consisting of 10 Sysco broad-line operating units and several specialty processing and distribution centers.

Oxnard, California

Led the recruitment and development of sales, marketing, procurement, human resources, transportation, warehousing and finance teams to support a new $200MM broad-line distribution facility serving Kern, Ventura, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.

Pocomoke City Maryland

Developed additional skills needed to assume the role of President and CEO of an operating unit for Sysco. Left this position to move across country to open new facility.
