I am an accomplished engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering. I began my career with an apprenticeship under Bayer Crop Science, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining various mechanical equipment such as pumps, conveyors, separators, centrifuges, vessels, and supporting equipment. Upon completion of my apprenticeship, I continued my journey with Bayer Crop Science until the site underwent a transition and became Briar Chemicals. Throughout my tenure at Briar Chemicals, I further honed my skills and expertise in mechanical engineering, gaining valuable experience in working with heritage plant equipment, including riveted plant and steam locomotive type boilers, as well as modern water tube boilers.To complement my practical experience, I have pursued a comprehensive education, earning various qualifications such as an NVQ level 2 and 3, BTEC National Certificate, Higher National Certificate, Higher National Diploma, ASME/PSSR's level 1, API 510 pressure vessel inspection certification, API 570 pipework inspection certification, and BOAS boiler operator accreditation for type 2 boilers. These certifications have allowed me to enhance my knowledge and proficiency in engineering principles and practices.In addition to my academic achievements, I also strive for continuous personal and professional development. I recently completed my first module and bridging module with The Open University, which demonstrates my commitment to staying up-to-date with industry advancements. Furthermore, I am proud to announce that I have recently achieved a BEng (Hons) degree through the Open University.Currently, I am serving as a Mechanical Engineer at Perenco, starting in Jan 2024.I am passionate about constantly expanding my knowledge and skills within the mechanical engineering field and staying abreast of emerging technologies. I believe that my extensive experience, strong technical expertise, and commitment to professional growth make me a valuable asset to any organization.
