Sourcing and managing digital camera commodity for last mile delivery initiatives of Amazon Fleet projects and Alexa Echo products with focus on image sensor and camera module assembling. Review and evaluate camera module integrator’s performance and capability. Continue to develop sourcing strategies with new camera module integrators per product specifications. Facilitate and lead projects with cross-functional teams such as engineering and product marketing for strategy and optimization of sourcing, supply and pricing to maintain lowest cost, and the delivery of highest quality from each supplier. Additional duties include:• Working closely with image sensor architect and camera RD to define product specs.• Lead the selection of image sensor and camera module integrators per product spec and business objectives.• Facilitate sensor roadmap update and feature enhancement with suppliers per product marketing’s feedback.• Initiate and conduct on site LEAN and social responsibility audit• Initiate and negotiate purchase agreement, SOW, and exclusive agreement with legal team members and suppliers.

Responsible in procuring and sourcing communication IC and microprocessor. Lead price negotiation and supplier selection process. Develop and maintain supplier relationship. Develop commodity strategies and drive execution to completion. Review current supplier base, evaluate business objectives and provide alternatives solutions to business units. Additional duties include:• Develop and maintain sourcing strategies and supplier relationships with communication IC suppliers with a total annual spending greater than $300M.• Responsible for annual cost saving up to 10% which is in result of $30M cost saving on strategic communication ICs and microprocessors.• Mitigate supply chain risks and maintain supply chain health by actively managing suppliers and global hub to ensure supply continuity.• Conduct quarterly business review with suppliers for performance and metric governance• Initiate and negotiate master purchase agreement, master software license agreement, and rebate agreement with legal team members and suppliers.

Responsible for OEM business development including Cisco, HP IPG, and Belkin to identify design win opportunities. Developed and maintained solid business relationships with customers to gain incremental business. Create business plans and forecasts to maximize volume and productivity. Forming strategic alliance with ODM on specialized projects for government and utility companies. Provided information to management regarding product and price commitment.

Lead supplier selection process, supplier relationship, cost management, and strategic supplier direction.
