I currently lead the direction, strategy, performance, efficiency and achievement of the nature strategies for the City of Edinburgh.My civil service experience includes retrofitting resilience in the education estate and developing standards for educational buildings and grounds at the Department for Education, with a focus on green infrastructure.My private sector experience covers NSIPs, strategic housing sites, education, retail, healthcare, commercial, play, public realm, active travel and green / grey infrastructure. I was a co-author of Terrapin Bright Green's 14 Patterns of Biophilic Design and have spoken on the subject at various national and international conferences.
