I have worked for GM/Powertrain in Defiance, Ohio since June 1972. My responsibility is to represent hourly and retired UAW members as a benefit Plans Representative. I have performed this function since 1980.I have also been involved in local city politics since 1994. I have served two terms as a member of the Defiance City Board of Education (1994-2002) and served 3 terms as an At-large Councilman for the City of Defiance.I also served as the Chairman of the Defiance Area United Auto Workers-Community Action Program (CAP) Council for 11 years. We represent the political interest of over 7,500 active and retired UAW members in seven counties of NW Ohio.
