In this role, I am primarily responsible for the overall technical design of new software solutions that are proposed by our Innovation and Digitalization council. These ideas often involve in some part a new, emerging, or disruptive technology such as AI, ML, IoT, etc. I will then work with the PM to guide the effort to envision and rapidly build a functional prototype so the council can evaluate if the idea is feasible enough to warrant further development. If the idea is accepted, then I will see the project through from pilot, to fully scalable product, then final handoff to the long-term support team.- Responsible for designing domain, architecture, deployment, and dataflow diagrams for new software products- Responsible for communicating and enforcing design, build, and deployment strategies- Accountable for the overall quality, functionality, and security of applications built by teams of external developers
