Profile bio

About Joe Hillyer Mba, Pmp

While serving as an active-duty Army Special Forces officer, I was also caring for my Dad who had Alzheimer’s. The challenges of Alzheimer’s and memory care therein lead to a clear understanding of the value of home care, home health, and Hospice services. I was also charged with caring for my brother during his long-term illness with cancer. After losing my Dad, my Mom stayed on at our family farm until the decision was made to move her into my home. We spent a decade caring for her before her passing. All of which gave my wife and I first-hand experience of home care, Alzheimer’s, and the need/value of maintaining optimal home health for loved ones. As a Veteran, I also realized that our Veterans population has a need for resources to help with the impact of the aging process. With this experience, my wife and I took ownership of an international franchise that happens to be the oldest and most experienced home-care company in the US.HOMEWATCH CAREGIVERS OF TACOMAWhen searching for in-home caregiving services in Tacoma, it’s important to be sure that you’re choosing an agency that you can trust to treat your beloved family member with compassion and dignity.
