For a period of time spanning ten years, prior to his move to Baltimore from Los Angeles, served as Controller and Executive Committee member of API Telephone Systems Inc., a division of a national company, which included such affiliates as Teleflora, Inc. and The Franklin Mint. Also worked in Beverly Hills, California for a real estate syndication, development and management company, filling various financial roles. He also was President of the Maryland Automobile Dealers Group Self Insurance Trust, from its inception in 1996 until 2010.Has significant automotive industry recognition; being profiled on multiple occasions in Automotive News, the major publication within the industry. In addition, has been a featured speaker at the NADA and AICPA conventions, as well as several related industry events, discussing topics as diversified as retail warranty reimbursement,customer retention and cultural change. His management team was recognized by DaimlerChrysler as one of the leading organizations in the country in the CRM arena through a professional video production, in which they were featured on a national tour of corporate automotive executives promoting customer satisfaction initiatives.
