I am the president, owner and founder of Kubes Steel Inc., a service based rolling and bending fabrication company in Southern Ontario.I started my career in steel more than 40 years ago, starting off making ornamental iron railings with my father Peter, before moving on to medium-heavy custom fabrication in the late 70’s/early 80s. It was then that Kubes Steel was officially founded and we purchased our first shop on Jones Rd in Stoney Creek.As the business grew we took on larger and larger jobs and became one of the leading Ontario manufacturers of heavy steel custom fabrication for the construction, cement, mining, steel making, and power generation industries.In the early 2000’s, the business grew again and we moved to a new location on Arvin Avenue in Stoney Creek with a new focus on rolling and bending. Today, we have the largest Canadian capacity for rolling and bending steel sections, and are developing new technologies that will continue to see the company grow for decades to come.My success as a business owner comes from a combination of skill, enthusiasm, dependability, a strong work ethic and respect for our customers, my employees, the community and the business itself.
