• Undertake Credit Assessment of Complex lending applications received from Mortgage Advisers, for customers in the Business Banking segment.• Provide an exceptional relationship-based service experience for customers and Mortgage Advisers, supporting ANZ’s Retail & Business Banking goals of being #1 in Growth and #1 in Service.• Meet settlement targets through strong relationship building, sound judgemental risk assessment of applications (within ANZ’s credit guidelines) and a strong focus on providing market leading financial solutions to our Business Banking customers and stakeholders in the Mortgage Adviser segment.• Manage your own workflow and assist your team as required, to meet or exceed individual and team targets, through collaboration and proactively managing conflicting priorities.

-Provide superior customer service to our high value and micro business customers.-Taking ownership of inbound and outbound contacts at first point.-Working within SLA's.-Understanding and applying unsecured and secured credit lending.-Understanding requirements in respect of business and personal lending including residential and commercial securities, guarantees, SSAs, GSAs, Payroll Letter of Credits and other contingent liabilities such as performance bonds.-Identify any risks within a proposal and discuss and mitigate these as part of a Credit submission.-Analyze business financial accounts in order to ascertain the credit worthiness of the borrower.

Reporting to the Lead, Fulfilment, the key focus of this role is to complete key components of the Credit Memorandum in support of the customer, specifically loan applications, including thorough financial and risk analysis.On a day to day basis, responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) :-- Completing key components of the Credit Memorandum for existing and new to bank transactions via credit analysis, financial analysis, application of industry knowledge and application of internal policy requirements and decision tools- Analysing Customer's financial information e.g. Tax returns & Financial Statements to determine willingness and capacity to repay- Taking a proactive approach in seeking additional &/or clarifying information to support customer expectations, which may include obtaining sufficient information from the customer's Business Banking Manager and/or directly from the customer- Ensuring all activities are completed accurately and in line with relevant process, policy and compliance standards, including performing a quality and completeness check of the input provided by the Bankers/Associates.- Assessing Customer credit risk and completing submissions for lending including mortgage processing.increases, renewals and churns for approval by appropriate Delegated Commitment Authority (DCA) Holder
