Current• Led KVPR after the death of the station's longtime (30+ years) General Manager• Managing a community licensee serving public radio listeners in Fresno (KVPR) and Bakersfield (KPRX) California's 5th and 9th largest cities• Developed a strategic plan for the evolution of KVPR's content and service to the community, resulting in a significant format change from news/classical to news/talk, and launched a 24/7 classical service on streaming and HD-2 platforms, growing station audience and membership revenue• Led the station through the impacts of COVID-19 while improving the station's bottom line• Facilitated KVPR's participation in the Microsoft-funded Central Valley News Collaborative with partners Radio Bilingue, The Fresno Bee, Vida en el Valle• National collaborations with StoryCorps mobile tour, StoryCorps One Small Step and 1A Remaking America• Regional Collaborations with The Merced Focus, Central Valley Journalism Collaborative, Reporting on Health Collaborative, NPR's California Newsroom• Launched narrative-driven podcasts The Other California & Escape from Mammoth Pool• Launched and completed a capital fundraising drive to support the complete overhaul of the station's broadcasting infrastructure, including all new transmitters, distribution and associated technology• Facilitated continued upgrades to KVPR's facilities including photovoltaic solar, backup generator, and buildout of additional studios• Increasing the diversity of station staff and boardHonors:• California Nonprofit of the Year (2019)• National Edward R.
