I currently enhance my strong technical skill-set with the ability to perform advanced IP network planning, upgrading of customer networks based on vendor best practices and advanced troubleshooting to identify loopholes and bottlenecks in any networks of any size.I do pre-sales engagement and the supplying of the Bill of Materials (BoM) for sales and tenders, customer engagement and attending high level workshops to discuss projects deliverables and deadlines. My certified specializations now includes : Cisco, HP, Fortinet, Peplink and Mimecast.Installation of new equipment and configuration thereof to pre-approved technical standards and the sign off of the project after completion.I regularly attend training sessions local and abroad and strive to keep up with the ever evolving network industry growth. I attended an official Cisco CCIE boot-camp and I'm aiming to complete CCIE R&S in future months to come.I regularly maintain and re-certify my 5 Cisco Professional networking certifications namely Cisco CCDP, CCNP R&S, CCNP Wireless, CCNP Security and CCNP Data Centre.With the strong introduction of Fortinet appliances into the networking security space, I also support Fortigate Firewall, FortiMail, FortiAP and FortiWeb installations and maintainance. I have assisted more than 115 customers in the past few years to migrate to a fully fledged UTM firewall solution. I am Fortinet FCNSP qualified (Fortinet NSE level 4) and Fortinet NSE5, NSE7 are in progress.Recent qualifications include: Mimecast Certified Engineer, Peplink Certified Engineer and Peplink Certified Sales specialist.

Advanced Network planning and engagement with customers to determine problematic issues in their network.Attend meetings to discuss new projects and liase with Sales to discuss new equipment and project delivery deadlines.Installation and configuration of network equipment to best practices. Attended several technical training sessions abroad to keep all my current certifications active. Currently the only Avaya IP Telephony skilled resource in Namibia with Avaya ACS certification.

National network monitoring of all Telecom Namibia Infrastructure. Compiling of nationals statistics of all connected customers.Maintaining Telecom Namibia's TMN Centre with 24/7/365 network monitoring with several vendors including: HP Openview, Sun Solaris, SCADA, Martis, Marconi etc.Working of shift duties to ensure optimum uptime of Telecom Namibia infrastructure.
