Here, I provided guidance and assistance on all ordnance vehicles, small arms, and optics equipment in the Marine Corps’ largest division, while serving as the logistics technical advisor. I oversaw the accountability, technical training, and maintenance of nearly 109,000 ordnance assets valued over $1.75B. I also managed the placement of 3,000+ personnel across 27 organizations and 16 different military occupational specialties. I supervised the cradle-to-grave life cycle support for new equipment fielding. Monitored and coordinated logistic inspection programs to ensure logistics readiness for 27 organizations. Additionally, I supported the division ammunition sections as needed regarding weapon and ammunition malfunction reports as well as (MLSR) missing, lost, stolen, and recovered reports. I liaised and interacted with the Defense Logistics Agency and Marine Corps Logistics Command on a routine basis to voice concerns, discuss issues, and find solutions for problem resolution.➥ Reduced discrepancies and achieved 12% increase in logistics management inspection results through the standardization of inspection and evaluation processes.➥ Facilitated the allocation of new equipment purchases; developed strategies for the life cycle management, introducing 15,000 pieces of new equipment to the inventory. ➥ Directed and supported the fielding of 1,000+ individual and crew-served weapon systems, enabling new equipment training to occur with units before deployment.➥ Handled the divestment of all tanks within the ground combat element, including the redistribution of equipment to better support shortfalls across the enterprise in close collaboration with the program office.➥ Facilitated the enterprise with the root cause analysis and troubleshooting of plenum door seals in the amphibious assault vehicle, while simultaneously coordinating the fielding of the replacement amphibious combat vehicle.

East Africa

In this role, I coordinated preventive and corrective maintence requirements, and supply distribution for a Navy SEAL headquarters element and special operations teams in five contingency locations spread across three countries in east Africa, while serving as the supply officer and property book manager. I configured and maintained equipment in the area of operations to ensure seamless functionality. Additionally, I oversaw the sourcing, requisitioning, reception, and distribution of all food, weapons, building materials, medical supplies, and repair parts for all subordinate elements of the unit. I cooperated with the combined joint task force on property migration in support of base support integrator transition. I also liaised with the defense logistics agency and the class-I prime vendor to provide sustainment to five contingency locations. I collaborated with higher headquarters units in Germany and Tampa to provide training on all new equipment fielded in support of mission requirements.➥ Led a division of 34 joint service members and maintenance contractors in the conduct of all maintenance and supply activities, supporting combat operations throughout the 400,000 square mile area of operations.➥ Executed a strategic initiative to redistribute 800,000+ end items with value over $300M into 13 different accounts in order to facilitate legitimate equipment accountability. ➥ Navigated the requisition, receipt, and delivery of 160,000+ material requirements totaling over $11M in five different supply systems.➥ Reduced maintenance cycle times and errors in readiness reporting as well as increased readiness by designing a web-based tool that enabled special operations forces teams to request maintenance support over the secure network.

I also handled all maintenance initiatives and all areas that related to equipment accountability and readiness, for the Inspector General’s office, while serving as the analyst. I coordinated requirements and assisted subordinate commands with requisitioning, procurement, fielding, storage, maintenance, and distribution of ground equipment. I coordinated with higher headquarters and subordinate units to align ordnance personnel and equipment with applicable structure requirements. I also conducted internal inspections of armories and provided guidance to correct deficiencies. I led, mentored, and supervised sections to ensure individual and organizational technical and tactical proficiency as well as professional and personal development. Additionally, I defined a regimental policy to cover the requirements and responsibilities of weapons custodians universally across all four battalions and the regimental headquarters.➥ Successfully managed the consolidated regimental armory facility, including on-site military construction and other repair projects to ensure compliance with applicable physical security requirements.➥ Led the correction of self-identified discrepancies, maintaining the ordnance section's score of 92% on the division’s logistics readiness evaluation as well as 93% on the headquarters Marine Corps supply and maintenance inspection.➥ Managed, redistributed, and disposed nearly 6,000 ordnance items with value over $28.7M on the regiment's excess consolidated memorandum of receipt (CMR), maintaining accountability despite the countless units involved between Pendleton and 29 Palms.➥ Reduced internal time and manpower requirements significantly to accomplish the mission by enabling ordnance maintainers to perform 100% technical inspection on over 5,000 ordnance assets being turned over between subordinate units.

In this role, I supervised the maintenance productivity of coalition forces, contracted logistics personnel, and joint forces service members in direct support of special operations. I served as the subject matter expert for all logistics, materiel readiness, accountability, quality assurance, and supply chain management matters.
