For NIWC-Pac I specializes in managing programs related to the installation and operation of energy systems. My duties expand over various areas such as advanced communications, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainability and electric vehicles.

At ASU's Labratory for Energy and Power I'm responsible for leading and managing research projects related to military energy, with a focus on developing new technologies and solutions to improve energy efficiency and sustainability in military operations.

As the infrastructure subject matter expert I work with U.S. Marine Corps' Installation NeXt group and the Office of Naval Research to discover and implement new technologies and processes for Marine installations to maintain operational resilience and lethality

LightWorks is a strategic framework for a broad portfolio of clean energy-related research and policy development at Arizona State University. Our mission is to integrate promising technology and ideas with seed funding strategically and utilize market assessments and economic analysis to create real-world applications and viable business models.Current Responsibilities • Led a six professor team in the creation and implementation of an on-going critical skills training curriculum employed by over 100 members of the ASU military community as of late 2017. Focused on entrepreneurship, innovation and project management.• Oversaw $3.5M Office of Naval Research pilot project for six energy related fields over multiple engineering and cyber disciplines resulting in its continuation & an increased defense funding allotment of $500K annually.• Project Manager for research in Microgrid application. Project Coordinator for rapidly deployable Microgrids in humanitarian crises/natural disasters. U.S. Marine Corps Infantry, Squad Leader•Selected for Combat Meritorious Sergeant promotion for being top 2% of 243 Corporals in the 7th Regiment for “demonstrated excellence in leadership, job knowledge, and decision making”•Served as assistant patrol leader responsible for the direct mentorship, safety and professional development of 14 squad members for four overseas deployments•Supervised 14 Marines over 900 hours of fixed security force operations to ensure the safety and protection of government property and personnel at the U.S. Embassy in Yemen•Conducted over 30 mounted patrols serving as vehicle commander in charge of 5 Marines, responsible for ensuring the safety of local civilians, tasked with security and direct engagement of Taliban forces while deployed to Helmand Province, Afghanistan•Responsible for instructing 55 Marines in Combat Life Saver, Marine Martial Arts Program, Advanced Urban Combat, Financial Planning and Cultural Immersion courses
