I started my professional career as an Industrial Education teacher. I taught electronics as Casper College and rehabilitation technology for the University of North Dakota Occupational Therapy Program for 14 years. While at Casper College I developed an assistive technology program and clinic for the State of Wyoming. In 2004, we moved the Centrum for Disability Services off campus into a 501 (c) 3 non-profit.The Centrum provides specialized equipment, assessment services and home modifications to the Wyoming Waiver, Workers Compensation & Safety, and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Centrum also the Work Incentive Planning Assistance (WIPA) for the State of Wyoming funded through Social Security. The WIPA Project supports Social Security beneficiaries with a disability employment efforts.Do to the demand for services from the general public for specialized equipment, Home Access & Accents, LLC was formed. Home Access provides ramps, stair lifts, barrier-free bathrooms, and other equipment to the public.I am a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist by the National Association of Home Builders, RESNA Assistive Technology Professional (ATP), Certified Work Incentive Coordinator (CWIC) by Virginia Commonwealth University, and Certified Environmental Assessment Consultant (CEAC) by Live at Home.
