- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, architectural drawings, shop drawings, installation requirements, and architectural intent.- Conduct take-offs, prepares accurate cost estimates, project schedules and material procurement processing for commercial window, door, storefront, and curtain wall systems.- Perform formal project management activities.- Order, track, and coordinate materials pertaining to each project.- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.- Draw accurate shop drawing elevations using the GDS Estimating Software. - Create Work Orders, and Purchase Orders using Quickbooks. - Ensure up to date accurate records, budgets, schedules and progress reports.- Participates in quality control inspections and improvements- Establishes and nurtures relationships with industry professionals, manufacturers, general contractors, subcontractors and public agencies in an ultimate effort to promote company revenue growth- Stay informed of most current product, systems knowledge and industry practices in order to improve efficiency and skill.- Provide IT Support for the computers, printers, and routers here in the office.
