Over the course of 10 plus years since I graduated from college, I have worked in many industries and roles. I followed one of my professor's advice as to starting a career in sales where I can build my career foundation and further develop my communication, negotiation, problem-solving, persuasive abilities and organizational skills. These acquired skills have opened many doors to new opportunities and advanced me where I am today. I've decided to leave my sales career behind for the simple fact, I wasn't able to excel in this profession. Looking back, I don't regret working in sales for several years. There was a period of time when I was working in Media/Publishing as an Editorial Researcher for a few years and seemed to have a strong grip on it despite not having prior education in Journalism or Public Relations. My media career came to an end in the later part of "The Great Recession"​ during '08-'10. Fast forward two years, I opened a new chapter of my career path, Employment Recruiting, as the U.S. Economy was in recovery mode so did my confidence in this field. I continue to do well with working in a fast-paced and high call volume environment communicating with job candidates to gauge on their chance of success in an organization. Presently, I have been focusing most of my time in Market Research with the recruitment aspect and I would anticipate in the next few years of working in the same industry but in mid-level role in data analytics or reports production.
