Developed go to market strategies and worked with OEMs to advance strategies in the Cloud Management space.• Designed and developed an Active-Active Data Center network architecture called Next Generation Data Center (formally known as Resilient Active Data Center) utilizing Locator Identity Separation Protocol (LISP), Overlay Transport Virtualization (OTV), and Adaptive Security Appliances (ASAs) clustering to provide online virtualized workload mobility between physical sites.• Co-author on a whitepaper and reference architecture on Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) Disaster Recovery using programmatic approach to synchronizing ACI Fabric policy between two separate fabric.• Developed and built a prototype of an Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) Active-Active Data Center design using ACI, LISP, and Intelligent Traffic Director (ITD) to provide inbound and outbound routing optimization along with ACI policy enforcement.• Designed and tested the World Wide Technology (WWT) Advanced Technology Center (ATC) QualiSystems environment along with test and development of an OpenFlow Layer 1 switching solution. Co-authored a whitepaper on using Software Defined Networking (SDN) - OpenFlow as an alternative to using a Layer 1 switch for Ethernet traffic.• Designed and built an ACI Demand Generation Training Class to include the whole environment setup and lab guides. Scott Afb

• Lead Network Architecture for the USTC Common Computing Environment (CCE). Designed the network data center architecture for both the Common Production Environment (CPE) and the Common Development Environment (CDE). • Designed a distributed data center solution utilizing VMware vMotion and Cisco Overlay Transport Vitalization (OTV) to allow for an Active/Active data center setup.• Designed and developed an out-of-band network architecture to facilitate secure management of the CPE and CDE environments at both local and remote data centers.• Provide LAN/MAN/WAN backbone services and engineering to the US Transportation Command (USTC) Classified and Unclassified LAN/MAN/WAN. Provided network connectivity to over 5,000 unclassified/classified workstations and servers.• Lead a Team of 7 Network Engineers providing lead engineering decisions and problem resolutions. Coordinated multiple projects with various offices providing rapid design and deployment.• Designed, Engineered, and Implemented a COOP site for the USTC Classified and Unclassified Networks through the use of redundant SONET connections, TACLANE architecture, and BGP routing protocol Manipulation to provide automatic failover in the event of a DISA node failure at either site.• Engineered a solution to provide source site/IP address based DNS resolution for to provide load balancing through the use of a Cisco Global Site Selector (GSS) and a DNS server.• Engineered a VPN solution using DOD PKI CAC authentication which also provided real-time CRL checking.• Designed and implemented network based redundancy solutions such as Virtual Switching Systems 6500 architecture and Link aggregation to the end node.• Provided remote classified and unclassified connectivity to the USTC Commander while en-route and TDY. Air Mobility Command

• Provided Enterprise network support for a Command and Control (C2) System for the Air Mobility command that served 12 Air Force Bases Command wide. • Designed and Implemented extensive redundancy and survivability for the C2 server environment and WAN connectivity for Scott AFB Classified Network through the use of OSPF and BGP.• Designed and Implemented security boundary for the C2 server environment and managed numerous sets of Cisco PIX firewalls and Cisco Firewall Services Modules.

Anheuser-Busch St. Louis

• Supported and Maintained Enterprise size network consisting of over 1100 Network devices worldwide.• Troubleshot issues with Frame-Relay, ISDN, and DSL issue with ISPs to resolve connectivity issues with remote business units.• Produced Standards and Troubleshooting Guides to improve support of the global network.• Installation of VPN/GRE tunnels for domestic and global sites to provide higher security for the company’s assets.• Utilized NetScout Performance Manager to provide accurate and detailed reports to customers at remote locations enabling them to correct issue on their segment of the network.

Scott Afb

• Coordinate, configure, install and troubleshoot Cisco and Nortel networking equipment in support of Air Mobility Command Headquarters and all 15,000 customers of the Scott AFB metropolitan area network. Seamlessly provided a convergence from a single vendor environment into a multi-vendor environment.• Provided over 100 technical solutions including a 500K dollar renovation for AMC Headquarters USAF. Key in the install of 2.5 million dollars of Nortel equipment to including Passport 8600 and numerous types of Baystack switches.• Implement Policy-based routing for more effective packet forwarding to ensure load balancing in a dual firewall/DMZ environment.• Seamlessly converted the backbone routing protocol from a Cisco proprietary protocol (EIGRP) to a multi-vender compatible protocol (OSPF) to ensure interoperability between Cisco and Nortel backbone routers.• Optimize the OSPF routing protocol by utilizing route summarization and areas to speed up convergence and limit problems from one area affecting others.• Implement an ADSL network to replace old CSU/DSU connecting it to the backbone providing a faster and more reliably connection to vital network resources.
