•UI DEVELOPMENT-Developed entry forms for entering cluster, network and switch information to make cluster tracking and maintenance easier.-Setup and developed dashboard that displays information about each equipment by obtaining information from MySQL database.•TOOL DEVELOPMENT*Log Collection Tool-Investigated, developed and maintained tool that automatically collects logs from various components of VxRail using VxRail API, Redfish and IPMI tool as part of bug creation process.-Tool made log collection for bug filing more efficient.*Cluster Backup Tool-Investigated and developed tool to automatically create backups of the management VMs of each VxRail cluster in team’s environment twice a month using VxRail’s file based backup. -Tool helped in reducing cluster recovery time from days to hours in the case of critical failures of the management VMs.*Enhanced backend tool which works with a frontend UI to automate JIRA bug creation.*Enhanced tool that creates a DNS and fileserver on clusters for storing logs of test runs.•AUTOMATED TEST DEVELOPMENT*MySQL Test-Developed a test case that simulates a potential customer setup that uses MySQL Database for I/O transactions.-Helped in developing a single-server single-client (1:1) automated test which simulated MySQL transactions.-Enhanced test into a single-server multiple-clients model (1:N) to simulate real world use of databases.-Test case enabled team to test the various components of VxRail HCI such as CPU, memory and network.*Oracle Test – Similar customer setup and test case was developed for Oracle Database.*Investigated and developed common modules and parts of other test cases.•Created and maintained Jenkins master-agent model servers to resolve an issue of high CPU and memory usage on a single server setup.•Created and maintained an Icinga server to monitor team's equipment such as VMs and switches.•Created and maintained a GitLab server for git server integration.
