About Joseph Brogno
My life goal is to work on and around interactive art. The entertainment world continues to evolve and present more avenues to explore. I've worked on several 3D television shows as an environment artist and supervisor. The people I've worked with were incredibly talented and always willing to share their craft. I've been exposed to the entire pipeline, able to brainstorm and problem solve through many different issues. Cross-team communication is key for a smooth production flow, as is documentation, and training, all of which I'm well versed in.My affinity for "play" inspired me to develop a great many board & card games. I have been lucky enough that my hard work paid off in the form of a published product. Nothing satisfies my creative-bug as much as game design.As Community Manager for a video game studio I gained a deep insight that has proven to be very important when creating for others. The invaluable understanding of the player's perception and reactions to interactive art will continue to serve me well.I was previously at Blok Party as the Creative Director and Lead Game Designer of PlayTable. I was responsible for overseeing the creation of new games as well as the digitization of many popular board games."Play" is important, and I believe being a part of, or creating a framework in which others can participate in "play" has to be the most rewarding experience in my life. I look forward to surrounding myself with others that share similar beliefs and goals.I am an architect of fun!
