I was employed as a senior project manager in the Wealth Management software group at FIS. The position was reduced as a cost savings effort.

In 1996 I moved from the technology team to the operations team at the request of senior management. Starting in 1996 with approximately 40 FTE I was asked to take on additional departments and responsibilities peaking at over 700 employees in 6 states in 12 locations. This included multiple departements on all three shifts. Most recently I was responsible for approximately 380 FTE. The reduction in FTE was the result of efficiencies allowed by image based processing.

In 1981 I started as a programmer in the check processing support team, programming in COBOL and Assembler. I became the project leader of this team in 1985 and continued to add systems responsibilities and staff for this team until 1996. I was responsible for approximately 40 programmers, programmer analysts, and project leaders. This team was consistently successful implementing projects and maintaining the operations team. I was asked to move to operations in 1996 when several postions opened up du to retiements and medical issues.
