Rocky Mountain Region

Field Service Engineer 3 at Philips Healthcare in the Rocky Mountain Region. Provides multi vendor services on GE MR and CT modalities, as well as support for Philips Radiological devices.

Utah Region

Manages the scheduled and unscheduled services for the imaging devices for IASIS Healthcare within the Utah Region, which includes five hospitals and other imaging locations. Provides primary support for Radiological, Fluoroscopes, and magnetic resonance imaging, and support devices.

Coordinates, plans, and directs all services, staff, activities, and programs of the Bio-Med Department. Develops and interprets policies and procedures and long-range plans of the department. Ensures services are of the best quality, are cost effective, and carried out in an expeditious manner. Effectively interacts with employees, managers, and other health team members while maintaining established professional standards. Has the knowledge and assessment skills necessary to communicate, educate, and provide a therapeutic and safe environment for patients.

Responsible for the servicing of all radiology equipment across multiple campuses, to include PACS equipment and connectivity. Managed $10 million budget while directly supervising the performance, skill sets, and training of five technicians. Responsible for Equipment Planning on multiple projects including CT suite, MRI Suite, Neurological ICU, Pediatric Endoscopy suite, and a community health clinic.

Held multiple positions of ever greater responsibility during a fulfilling 20 year career, culminating as Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of a depot level Medical Equipment service shop located at Hill AFB, Utah. Responsible for the repair, refurbishment, and preparation of medical equipment for worldwide Army medical units, and direct level maintenance for National Guard units within an 18 state region.As served as Logistics analyst for forward deployed units as a member of the 6th Medical Logistics Management Center, Ft. Detrick, MD.
