NRC Level 2 Entertainment rigger, started working within the entertainment industry 2011 working as stage crew and rigging, working along side event and UK music festivals, after a quiet winter in 2014 i ended taking short break from the industry although still dipping my toe in on the odd job but quickly returned fully working on large scale installations and film and TV. After my daughter was born i was more focused to spend more time home and get away from the long working weeks so ended up touring theatre shows with weekend moves until we went into COVID19 lockdown. 18 months later of not a lot of work other than the occasional inspection job or day or two on TV dramas I went back out on the theatre tours picking up more and more work within the weekdays and was still fitting in the quality time at home that i wanted. This brought me closer to Rigging Team which lead me on to 2023 where i took a full time position as a Rigger and Project Manager, which means i am still doing the rigging that in enjoy but i am involved in the project from start to finish which is something i have always enjoyed and still have a very good life balance.
