Omplexity (formerly Systemica) is a consultancy specialized in systems thinking and systems mapping for large-scale systemic change. Many of the pressing problems facing humankind, such as climate change, poverty and sustainable development are complex adaptive challenges that require a systemic approach. We work with multi-stakeholder groups who care about shifting our current economic, social and ecological systems towards sustainable development. Our clients include public, private and civic sectors such as World Economic Forum, the United Nations, World Bank, Nike, Sustainable Apparel Coalition and Walton Family Foundation. Specifically, we help 1) design systemic change processes with the clients, 2) create systems maps through research and stakeholder interviews, 3) facilitate systems change workshops to help stakeholders form a shared understanding of the system, a shared vision and identify leverage points for collective action, 4) develop capacities for a network of systems leaders to think systemically and act collaboratively to shift a system.
