About Joe Jasinski

After working for 10-plus years as a sports journalist and then middle-school English teacher, I entered Saint John's Seminary in Brighton, Mass., in the Fall of 2021 to more intentionally and intensively discern a call to the Catholic diocesan priesthood. God willing, my journey as a seminarian will conclude with priestly ordination in May 2027. In the meantime, I'm trying to keep myself busy inside and outside the confines of 127 Lake Street: studying philosophy and theology, leading an in-house Bible study, serving in a variety of roles at various parishes/communities within the Archdiocese of Boston, helping lead the seminary's budding basketball program, and, most importantly, cultivating and growing deeper in my relationship with God. Please pray for me, as I will for you.
