Claim Senior Adjuster
Current● Interpret applicable policy for injury claims - primarily Auto, Homeowner, Specialty, Recreational and Umbrella● Determine applicable coverage, investigate facts of loss to determine bodily injuries sustained by all parties involved● Continually monitor files and review medical bills, medical records and related reports, to verify injuries, treatment and lost income for injured parties● Analyze and review both current and prior medical documentation to determine applicable policy limits available for loss sustained● Review state-specific statutes, legal precedent and policy language to determine all claim handling procedures are in compliance with both loss venue statutes and company best practice● Negotiate and settle injury claims in accordance with divisional expectations, while providing clear explanations of coverage, liability and settlement decision to all parties involved, first and third-party● Utilize resources and other technologies available to document all claim files and manage individual claim inventory, to achieve branch result goals● Facilitate communication between customers, law firms, agents, vendors, third-party administrators and other employees, to provide customer-driven claims service, support and resolutions
