In this role I manage post-award grants for multiple departments at OSU, meaning we have already received the money and are now focused on spending it appropriately. This includes fiscal management, personnel appointments, allowable expenditures, etc. and I provide tools, aids and direct support to faculty and fellows-Oversee and manage all post-award activities for over $55 million in grants within OSU's College of Medicine-Prepare regular financial summaries that requires pulling expenditure data and identifying/resolving any discrepancies before passing these on to researchers for a concise summary of the status of their grant(s).-Assist in forecasting expenditures to ensure we stay within the budgetary confinements of the grants. This involves a range of expenses from personnel to lab supplies to travel, both domestic and abroad.-Help prepare grants for regular reporting requirements, including final closeout. This involves shifting personnel and any regular charges from the ending grant to a different funding source.-Create helpful tools in Excel for coworkers to utilize the Workday reporting system.

In this role I managed a lot of the administrative tasks associated with the Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) for the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center (OSUCCC) including:-Reconciled 24 funds related to the CCSG on a monthly basis-Performed yearly cost analysis of core facilities and generate new fee charges, ensuring compliance with university and federal OMB-A21 guidelines-Managed and monitored all core facility usage metrics. This occasionally required the use of Tableau to pull the appropriate information in a format that was useful to the end users.-Assisted in developing, testing, maintaining and troubleshooting our proprietary billing system (eRAMP) which allows for online ordering, usage tracking and billing-Tracked publications by OSUCCC members and followed up with authors to ensure they are appropriately linked to the CCSG and core facilities if needed
