I was born in Alaska and The Last Frontier has never left me. Nuvuya (nü·vü·ya) means "cloud" in the Eskimo–Aleut family of languages. Although the Compaq computer company coined the term "cloud computing" in the late nineties, children and CEO's alike now use it to describe where computing happens.

As an independent contractor, I provide leadership and support to barcoding and shelving teams hired to complete district-wide inventory control. My primary responsibilities center around the use of Destiny, a web-based resource cataloging system.

While working for Westfield schools, I created and maintained their first Intranet, video-over-IP network, and streaming media network. I made these tools available to all staff and students through the use of Microsoft, VBrick, and RealNetworks servers/services. In addition, I managed the district and schools' websites while training building level staff to continue development of their individual sites. The streaming video services were used to broadcast the high school's graduation ceremonies and support the human resources' department evaluation procedures for all job applicants.

Design and deliver lessons in math, language arts, science, and social studies that help my students acquire knowledge as guided by state and federal curriculum standards.
