Joel is a consulting engineer in the fields of materials and infrastructure durability, corrosion, and repair. His experience includes assets in the resources, marine, transport, water and industrial sectors; as well as both residential and commercial buildings. He is driven to ensure his clients can confidently make informed decisions regarding the future of their assets, and is enthusiastic about finding the best ways to maximise their serviceable life.Joel volunteers as a committee member of the Concrete Institute of Australia and as voting member of the NACE concrete standards committee. His active involvement in corrosion and engineering communities keep him up to speed on the latest technology and best practices in durability and corrosion control. Outside of the industry, Joel enjoys the great outdoors, cook-ups, working on DIY projects, performing with his band, and most of all spending time with his wife Kelly, son Lucas, and their dogs.
