I was eager to prove myself useful and spent the remainder of the week taking various introductory law books from the library and going through them, front to back, learning everything I could about construction law. I was able to impress my Mentor and other associates with my ability rapidly acclimate myself to the Construction field and became useful in document review, clarifying any construction jargon's that was not widely understood by lawyers, and proof-reading documents. I found my ability to rapidly acclimate myself to a new area of law, completely dissuaded by the unknown, a gratifying achievement and an ability that will be of great value in future endeavors.
