- Senior Design Project Manager responsible of managing A&E consultants in the design and construction/renovation of new or existing schools. - Assist Management with managing staff, special projects and/or initiatives.- Manage multiple projects of varying complexity, including high visibility projects. - Guide interdisciplinary consultant teams assigned to projects. Coordinate architectural and engineering design activities in scope, design, and construction.- Utilize project and time management skills to effectively and simultaneously manage an average of 30+ projects in scope and design phase, and provide construction support for over 50 projects in construction. - Lead or participate in meetings with various SCA departments & outside consultants.- Recommend approval of consultant expenditures, and responsible for negotiating consultant fees.- Ensure adherence to schedule, budget, codes and standards, and tracking and ensuring approval from all regulatory agencies.-Assist Real State department designing leased spaces, converting them to Pre-K schools, and developing landlord's scope of work. - Participate in day-to-day operations to address and resolve specific managerial, administrative, and operational details.- Review and assess documents for quality, constructability, value engineering, commissioning, phasing, and other design related criteria.- Participate in the development of technical resources.- Support NYC mayor's initiatives such as installing green infrastructures and electrifying school buildings.

-Manage the work of various Architectural and Engineering firms providing Design and Construction Services for SCA-Manage Design of Capacity Projects throughout NYC, such as Pre-K Centers, New Schools/building additions and standalone gyms-Manage the Scope, Design and Construction of Capital Improvement and Enhancement Projects in existing School Buildings.-Provide cost-effective technical solutions-Adhere to budget requirements with excellent planning and consistent expense monitoring-Maintain open communication by presenting regular updates on project status to SeniorManagement.-Report regularly to managers on project budget, progress and technical problems-Schedule and facilitate meetings between project stakeholders to discuss deliverables,schedules and conflicts-Chair design team meetings and issue action items.
