I am currently pursuing a Biology Major at the University of North Texas. I'm seeking to attend dental school after graduation in 2020. Later to find Full-Time Employment at a dental office. I knew I wanted to do something with my life, but I was unsure on how to accomplish it. The high school I was attending (W.W. Samuell High School) had recently added a dual credit program. I had applied and was accepted, though not everyone could get into this program. This was the opportunity I took that guided me to get where I am today. I struggled to do both high school and college work at a very young age but I managed. I was able complete high school while graduating from Eastfield Community College with an Associates in Social Science. I finished community college securing a 3.3 GPA and a 3.5 GPA in high school. It was very difficult managing time for work and attending a community college, not many can accomplish a degree as a seventeen-year-old. It requires productive time management skills, hard work, and dedication. I’m applying these same skills into my BA degree at UNT. After finishing my studies at UNT, I plan to attend Dental School to ultimately be in the career of dental hygienist. My goal is to be able provide superior hygiene to numerous patients.
