As a Senior Managing Consultant at ESI (Engineering Systems Inc.), I leverage over 20 years of expertise in civil engineering and construction. My focus is on providing expert witness services for attorneys representing clients in construction or design-related disputes, and offering program advisory services for large infrastructure projects. Previously, as the Executive Director of the Metro Flood Diversion Authority (MFDA), I collaborated with city, county, federal, and commercial partners to plan, design, construct, and operate the FM Area Diversion comprehensive project, delivering permanent flood protection to the Fargo-Moorhead metro area. My tenure included significant accomplishments such as managing the $3.2 billion project and securing vital federal and state support.Beyond my professional endeavors, I am passionate about humanitarian engineering. I am the founder and president of the Engineers Without Borders – Red River Valley Professionals chapter and serve as a professional mentor for the Engineers Without Borders – NDSU chapter. In these roles, I have overseen numerous clean water and structural project implementations in Central America, empowering communities and enhancing quality of life.With a strong foundation in both technical expertise and leadership, I am committed to delivering innovative solutions and strategic insights for complex engineering challenges.
