Work with the Strategic Sourcing and Contracts teams to:Develop and manage supplier relationships including negotiation of contracts, and other commercial agreementsSupport supplier governance activities to manage commercial risk and supplier performanceCreate and execute category management strategies and tactics to optimise value, mitigate risk, and improve supplier performanceCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and understand business needs and requirements for procurement of goods and servicesIdentify opportunities to reduce costs and increase efficiency in procurement processes, procedures and systemsManage the sourcing processes from time-to-time, including conducting market research, identifying potential suppliers, issuing RFPs, evaluating proposals and negotiating contractsEnsure compliance with internal policies and procedures asl well as external regulatory and legal requirements

- Trusted business advisor building and maintaining relationships with key Technology stakeholders (including CIO) in order to understand and deliver sourcing and procurement requirements, providing a responsive and business-centric service.- Providing strategic category advice to Technology and business stakeholders- Managing the source to contract process, including preparation of documentation, manage tender processes, supplier communication, evaluation of supplier proposals, contract negotiations and ensure facilitating the timely award of contracts, ensuring value for money and risk-effective outcomes.- Identifying and delivering continuous improvement initiatives for procurement processes, systems, tools, templates and ways of working.- Calculating, tracking and reporting realisation status of financial benefits associated with sourcing and procurement activities within the Technology category.

Managing and delivering commercial, contractual, legal and financial outcomes across the Enterprise software portfolio including delivery of strategic projects, ensuring that AMP achieves maximum leverage (price and service delivery/quality) from vendor arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:- Negotiate and manage a portfolio of contract renewals - Ensure the effective and efficient execution of asset management for each portfolio domain through monitoring and reviewing asset management lifecycle information, ensuring oversight of core asset lifecycle functions, compliance, end of life, support and maintenance, demand management, procurement, financial obligations and asset rationalisation. - Identify & make recommendations in regards to risks, opportunities, new contracts , standards, policies and process improvements- Provide a structured asset management governance and control capability that ensures decisions are made in alignment with our Technology goals and Customer requirements, ensuring technology currency is managed, refresh and demand drivers are incorporated into financial planning and Technology asset risk is effectively managed

Key sourcing and vendor management responsibilities:- Negotiating and managing (end to end) large technology deals.- Providing commercial advice to key business stakeholders in relation to contract negotiation and execution.- Coordinate multiple RFx.- Facilitate and execute smaller deals where required. These transactions relate to cloud and on premise solutions.- Best practice and compliance: responsible for establishing and improving partner governance including executive review meetings.- Stakeholder management: Providing regular advice and instruction to senor members of the business and vendors in relation to contract construction as it is important for all orders to reference existing master agreements. Key escalation point for service delivery issues such as performance, invoicing and licensing.

Key sourcing and vendor management responsibilities:- Negotiating and formalising contracts with IT vendors such as Telstra, Optus, Service Now and Dimension Data.- Designed and implemented the IT Vendor Management Program.- Managed the relationship between IT and the business up to and including the CEO.- Developed SLA reporting- Designed, implemented and managed the Thrifty IT Change, Incident, Configuration and Problem Management processes (aligned to ITIL framework).
