From a young age I have always enjoyed I.T and furthering my understanding through trial and error, usually due to having to fix the things I had unintentionally broken. This interest translated quite well in my role as a Customer Technical Support at Internode, which was my first role in the industry. With the support and coaching provided by Internode at this early stage in my career, I developed the base skillset needed for me to work towards my career goal of becoming an Enterprise Architect and obtain my TOGAF Certifications. A bit about me as an individual at work: I love developing my mind, and so I naturally gravitate towards learning and development opportunities provided by the workplace for both hard and soft skills. I have confidence, a keenness to develop and I am successful in developing positive relationships with colleagues, key stakeholders and business professionals. It is my intention to further develop my existing skillset to have a greater understanding of corporate psychology and organisational development so that I can support organisational change and further initiatives of those around me as I feel strongly about continuous improvement initiatives. I also strive to support my colleagues in their personal and professional endeavours, as such I became a Mental Health First Aid Officer in my current workplace. I have been supported by a number of great managers and mentors so far in my career, and I hope to one day return to favour to support the career aspirations of ambitious and enthusiastic young individuals once I achieve my goals - watch this space!
