1985-1991: Sonar Supervisor on a fast attack nuclear-powered submarine, responsible for detecting, identifying and tracking contacts for navigation, safety and intelligence gathering. 1991-1994: Data Analysis Supervisor at the Naval Submarine Training Center-Pacific, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Led a team of experts to calibrate sonar systems for all Pacific-based submarines. Deployments: Three overseas deployments on the USS William H. Bates (SSN-680) and one overseas deployment on the USS Guitarro (SSN-665).
