Project Manager - Owners RepresentativeTynangroup Lp. Apr 2022 - PresentRepresented the owner’s interest in the $170m Santan Mountain Casino for the Gila River Community. Occasionally the needs of the project swing far outside the usual scope of Construction Management responsibilities. As our fast-track construction of the Casino began to outpace the availability of the Community infrastructure, we took action . Gila River irrigation water was repurposed for construction water.A 1200ft water well was drilled. We developed an on-site temporary potable water treatment system with a 700,000 gallon “lake tank”, pumps, treatment systems, reverse osmosis, and 200,000 gallons of potable water stored in NSF61 tanks. A compressed mechanical systems startup and commissioning schedule overlapped fine finishes and slot machine installations.Power, wastewater, and information technology utilities were coordinated ‘just in time” to support the project phasing. Intense focus was applied to the complex gaming systems. As the Gila River Gaming Enterprise designed and procured their components, the IDF/MDF power, cooling, and cabling infrastructures were coordinated and installed. Equipment racks were prebuilt offsite, systems loaded and tested prior to installation in the field.

Jun 2020 - Mar 2022Represented the owner’s interest in the $100m, Wild Horse Pass Resort and Casino Renovation for the Gila River Indian Community.The main entrance to the existing facility was revised to engage a new hotel tower of 206 rooms, 2 large pool areas, a ballroom and meeting space. The existing central was integrated into the new central plant to provide increased capacity and reduce the risk of down time for the entire complex.Tynan Group, Designers, Contractors, and Vendors bought in to the health and business goals of the Community when COVID hit just 6 weeks after the start of construction. Ever changing protocols were implemented and COVID /close contacts were monitored to keep crews healthy and working efficiently. Tynan provided deep scope and cost review, consistently forecasting against the budget. By participating in, and fully understanding every aspect of the construction process, changes and claims were quickly solved.The existing Casino was given a new fresh look with new fixtures, carpet, paint and furnishing while operating 24/7. Five existing restrooms were sequentially taken out of service, modernized, and finishes upgraded to complement the Casino floor.
