Specific Responsibilities:1. Develop, test, and implement new software programs. This includes, but is not limited to software applications, websites, data communication processes, and user interfaces.2. Test, maintain, and recommend software and system performance improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.3. Independently install, customize and integrate if necessary, all associates software packages in the project.4. Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of system issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.5. Analyze user requirements and convert requirements to design documents.6. Make good technical decisions that provide solutions to project challenges.7. Provide comprehensive support to internal and external users; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues and resolve complex technical design issues8. Compile timely, comprehensive and accurate documentation and or reports as requested9. Communicate effectively and professionally with management, technical support colleagues, and external customers.10. Database management:a. Configure the GHSC-PSM project database to meet project data needs.b. Update the database based on emerging project data and needs and indicator changes.c. Provide oversight on data collection and ensure integrity of the information gathered from the field.d. Plan and manage software and hardware installations.e. Perform periodic maintenance and servicing of MIS system to improve operational efficiency.f. Provide customer support for software issues, network problems and software installations, etc.g. In collaboration with unit heads, document lessons learned and best practices and share with GHSC-PSM headquarters and clients as requested.11. Perform other assigned tasks as requested.
