I’ve always had a passion for the design of buildings and spaces that enhance the experiences of it users. As Principal and Director of Architecture for Burns & McDonnell, I pursue that passion managing a talented team of architects, interior designers, landscape architects and engineers. I lead the strategic and design direction of our group, as well as developing and managing clients myself. I started at Burns & McDonnell in 1992, and during my tenure, I’ve worked on a variety of building types and served multiple roles, from detailed design and documentation to business development, and client and project management.Whether we are providing design and engineering services for our clients, or working with our in-house construction team to provide design/build services, our fully-integrated, collaborative approach puts our clients’ needs at the center of the design and construction experience. I serve on the boards of KidsTLC, and the Dean’s Advisory Board for the College of Architecture and Design at Kansas State University.
